Friends of the Hamilton Public Library 2017 Children's Bookmark Contest Deadline

Children in 1st-8th grade may create an original bookmark on an official form.

This year's theme is "Build a Better World."

Use markers, crayons, pencils, or pens. (Note: Gel pens do not photocopy well.)

Judging will be based on creativity, originality, neatness, and the use of the bookmark theme.

Limit one entry per child, please.

Judging will take place March 20, 2017.

Winners will receive a grade appropriate book prize and be recognized in a newspaper article.

The Friends of the Hamilton Public Library will host a signing party for the winners. The winning designs will be reproduced and sold at the Hamilton Public Library.

Deadline for submission: March 10, 2017

All entries become the property of the FOL. 

Winners will be contacted to obtain parental consent for publication.

Mrs. Keoughan's HISD art students will be entered through their art classes.

*Entries must not used branded characters from commercial sources due to copyright laws. For example: no cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse.
